July 2022: Secret Mission Briefing

OUR NATION/COMMUNITY

During the month of July, GSSA Headquarters encourages its GSS Agents to conduct secret missions to honor our nation and community. This month we celebrate the birth of America, arguably one of the greatest nations on earth.

The US independence day, July 4th, is celebrated this month. That day commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence, which marked the United States full liberation from England and its birth as a united and free nation.

This day is often celebrated with family barbeques, picnics, fairs, concerts and or fireworks. At GSSA, we encourage you to keep the celebration going all month long by conducting secret missions to help improve the integrity of our nation and community.

Despite the issues currently facing our nation, America is still the freest, wealthiest, most educated, powerful and charitable nation in the world. It offers religious freedom and opportunities for individuals to better themselves. It has thousands of nonprofits and religiously affiliated organizations and charities, like GSSA, that work to help people and communities overcome adversities by providing love, hope, and a helping hand in time of need.

At GSSA headquarters we believe in the principle outlined in Psalms 33:12, that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” We also believe the scripture outlined in Genesis 12:2, where God says “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”

GSS Agents, this month we encourage you to demonstrate your patriotism to our country and community and honor the heart of our Savior by secretly or openly taking positive actions to improve or help promote unity in our nation/community. If you’re a GSS Agent in another country, celebrate your nation and work to improve it this month.

Below are a few secret missions you can do to help:

 Pray for your elected officials and send a note to thank one for their service.

 Drop off canned foods, water or other supplies to your local food bank or community center.

 Support a locally owned business in your community.

 Donate to your local Goodwill store or donation Center.

 Anonymously leave a basketball or other piece of sports item at your local park for others to enjoy.

 Organizing a forum or conversation with various diverse individuals or groups to promote understanding and unity.
