YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT!
GOD’S SECRET SERVICE AGENTS CONDUCT SECRET SURVEILLANCE TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUALS IN NEED and CONDUCT SECRET COVERT MISSIONS OF KINDNESS AND SERVICE!
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 19:17 that “he that hath pity on the poor lendeth to the Lord and that which he hath given will be paid back to him.” Proverbs 28:27 says that “He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
As a GSS Agent, you are encouraged to conduct at least one secret mission per month from the “Secret Missions of the Week” provided each week on the website. If you chose not to accept any of those secret missions, we encourage you to regularly conduct secret surveillance in your daily life in order to identify people in need. Observe people and listen to what they say they need. Then plan small or large creative ways to use your words, time, talent or money to secretly meet those needs. You will have joy and fulfillment in planning and executing your covert missions of service and you will be storing up treasures in Heaven! The poor can be defined broadly as anyone in need (physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially). Anyone who is less fortunate than you, who doesn’t know Christ, or who needs words of encouragement is in need. That covers just about everyone!
It may be challenging to pull off a secret mission on your own. So don’t be afraid to enlist the help of family, friends and strangers to act as your co-conspirators to help you successfully execute your secret missions of kindness.
As you complete your secret missions, it is likely that you will not be able to observe or know the full outcome of the impact that your service had on the people you helped. You will need to trust God that he will use your obedience and secret acts of kindness to bless the people you helped in a supernatural way. Pray that your secret missions will glorify God, cause a prayer to be answered, a miracle to occur in someone’s life, introduce goodness to combat evil in the world, or bring someone to know Christ. So go out and conduct your secret missions with the confidence and faith that God is in full charge of the results.
SECRET MISSIONS DON’T ALWAYS HAVE TO INVOLVE SPENDING MONEY.
When helping, encouraging or meeting the need of your “Mission Assignment”, don’t forget to point them to Christ, by leaving them a simple anonymous note with an encouraging scripture, or a note that God loves them, sees their need, has answered their prayer or wants to change their lives for the better. You can create or write your own anonymous notes or order GSSA note cards and agent calling cards from the GSSA STORE.
Be creative. A note of encouragement or act of service can make a world of difference in someone’s life!
Always do your good deeds not looking for thanks or anything in return from your “Mission Assignment” knowing that God will meet your own needs and bless you openly and abundantly!
